Today we'll be taking a look at the Torque Lift Glowstep Revolution Scissor Steps with landing gear. Now, what sets these apart from other manufacturers' steps, or the factory steps on your fifth wheel, or your travel trailer, is that these offer the ultimate in stability and security and safety, for when you're traveling up them into your trailer. Now, we're getting this extra stability and safety because our steps are making contact with the ground with our built-in landing gear, right here. The main reason the factory steps are lacking on most fifth wheels or travel trailers is that we don't have a landing gear here that makes our bottom step have contact with the ground. That makes it very unstable when we're getting in and out of the trailer. When you initially step on your factory ones that don't have them, you can see how much they move and how unstable they are. I'm not a big guy. You can see that I'm getting about two inches deflection just stepping on to them. Now, our landing gear have five settings to adjust for uneven terrain. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hickory Springs manual pull out step, the manual operated RV step makes it easy to get into and out of your motor home. In order to use it, all you have to do is pull out right here on the step and it automatically engages into the end use position. When you're ready to position it back in for travel, again just lift up, easiest right there in the center and then move it back to the stowed position until the step locks into place. It's a really nice design and again automatically engages into the end use position and locks in the stowed position. You'll notice that right here on the top of the step it features a rigid surface that's going to provide sure footing, it also has two grip strips that provides additional traction for safety. Now the step itself is made from an extruded aluminum, so that's going to be lightweight and rust proof, so lightweight construction makes it pretty easy when extending and retracting the step. The framing on the unit, that's made from steel, as well as the linkages, those are made from steel and then that's going to have a black, powder coated finish on it which is going to protect it from rust and corrosion. It's an easy bolt on or weld on installation. more

These steps are going to feature a really unique design. There's going to be a hinge that runs here. Now I do have that hinge kind of pulled out. That way you can get somewhat of a decent view of it, but it's just a hinge plate, and that actually goes up underneath this top portion so it's fully hidden with a nice solid design there. Simply pull out the steps for use and then position them back in place for travel. Really nice design. Each step surface is going to feature two strips of non-skid tread tape that's going to provide sure footing so you won't slip as you get into and out of your RV and a nice rounded edge at the front of each step really helps do a great job at eliminating sharp corners. I also want to mention that each step is going to have two channels on it. These channels do a great job at trapping dirt and moisture, keeping your feet elevated and then there's drain holes at the end of each of those channels for all of that stuff to escape. When you're ready to move it into a stowed position, this step flips up on top. more

It's a really nice, low-profile design. It's going to increase your ground clearance. They're actually going to feature a weight capacity of 300 pounds. On the surface of the step, we're going to have a nice diamond tread surface that's going to help provide some additional grip to prevent falls. The steel is going to have a nice black powder coated finish on it so it's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion and looking nice for a long time. Now, the vertical height with these steps is going to measure between 18" and 23" so what that means is if the area where you need some stairs is between those measurements, then this setup is going to work great for your application. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy Steel Scissor Steps. These are going to be manufactured from steel for strength and durability. The weight capacity on these steps is going to be 300 pounds. They're going to feature a nice, diamond tread surface that's going to really help provide some good grip to prevent falls. The steel is going to have a nice powder coating, a black finish. It does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion and protecting the steel. That way these last a long time and they also look good for a long time. more

This particular unit is a 3-step assembly. It's going to expand from 24 to 30 inches tall, so if the area where you need some stairs is between those measurements, then these steps would work well for your application. On each step we're going to have a nice non-slip tread design. That's going to help add grip and prevent falls. The stairs there at that base will self-adjust to the terrain for even more increased stability. more

This is a four step assembly that's going to expand from thirty one to thirty nine inches tall. If the area where you need some stairs is between these measurements, then these scissor steps will work well for your application. You can see that located on each step, we're going to have a nice gripped area. This is non-slip tread on each step that's going to help add grip and prevent falls. Speaker: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy Scissor Steps. This is a 4-step design. These steps are designed for applications with a vertical height measurement from 31 inches to 40 inches. The vertical height is the measurement from level ground to the placement of the included mounting bracket. This is going to be the included mounting bracket. This would mount about 1/8 of an inch below the door that's the recommended clearance between the bottom of the door and the top of the mounting bracket. It's going to come with detailed installation instructions to help with you with the installation process. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Strombert Carlson Flexco 24 inch wide manual pull out steps for the RV's. This is a triple step design, has an 8 inch rise and a 350 pound weight capacity. These 9 inch 9 deep pull out steps are what you safely enter and exit your RV. They are manually operated RV steps that make it real easy to make it to get into and out of your motor home. Basically all you have to do is just simply pull out on the steps to use them. When you're done, just push them back in place for travel. I'm going to show here is how they pull out. Today we're going to review part number LC333969, this is the Lippert Aluminum Thread Light Manual Pull Out Steps for RV. This is the double step design. Has a 9 inch rise. Now this are manually operated RV step which makes it very easy to get into and out of your motor home. Basically you just simply pull the step out to use it and then position it back in place for travel. If you just reach in the middle, slide the step all the way out, all the way down and then just flip your lower step down, you'd see it is ready to use. Just step right in and then when you are going to travel, just flip this back up, slide it right back into place, very easy to handle. more

Then when you're ready to travel, for storage, you just flip that step back up, grab your handle, push it all the way in, and it'll fold back and store and lock into place. more
